I am.
I finish at 7am and am back on at 6pm.
Bloody dead last night(xmas eve), watched 3 DVD's and read 2 magazines.
In london most people who live here don't come from here, so when the holiday's come they go home to mum and dad.
I'm bringing my ironing in with me tonight, and my shoes and boots, might as well keep myself ocupied!.

I might go out for a little play this afternoon.

See if my Sat Nav works.

It was dead in the Borders as well, but the fares don't help at £7.00 for the first mile and £2.50 a mile after that, and that's right through to the 2nd of Jan.
But I am going back to normal fares tomorrow, as I still have that option on the meter and will only charge the Christmas tariff again on old years night and day, there is no point in sitting about for nowt.

Will it matter as folks will be expecting to pay the higher fares? :?

The only thing I'll be working on over xmas is some unfinished business in Scotland. Hopefully I'll have it completed within a few days. No rest for the wicked.

No Sussex they will always go for the cheaper option, they do know about it, but if the fares are to high folk will get the bus or walk, and with it being a 2 week holiday most folk have there cars.

I wish it was that simple Skippy, there are three things that need resolving in Scotland and I'll be working on all three.

Skippy, you deserve those rates for working christmas.
People always moan about paying more over chrismas, and yet if you ask them how much they would want for working christmas it's fortune's.
Don't undersell yourself!.

How will they know that your cab is cheaper than the others?

Especially if you are at a rank. :?

Decided not to go out to play and just stayed in and filled my face with a zillion calories.

Glad it's only once a year. Image

We have eight vehicles out tonight and going full bore...double rate, with £10.00 minimum fare. Very busy.

Merry Christams to all

Had a very nice Christmas Eve on Standby for Frazer Eagle at Newark Northgate, engineering works on the Eastcoast Mainline. Didn't turn a wheel, but was paid anyway. Nice Xmas box.
