Even I like Jimbo  even though I slag him or his 3 door 10 seater cab off  there is no malice intended
I hear he could be getting a bread van shortly :D

The thing is with TDO its a great source of information although sometimes jumbled up due to different opinions but if you ever need anything sorted, or need to find out where to get something, or how to try and fight a council just ask, and someone will know.
We all do the same job be it hack or PH, even though PH work to different rules, and in some places think they are taxeeeee drivers, we all look out for each other, or should do in our manors
Jimbo just ignore what the Muppet writes its only words and they cannot hurt you like that old school rhyme, and as the other saying goes what comes around comes around
Spoken like a true Scouser ...

That'll be his wife rubbing off on him :D

hI all

In response to Jimbo's post I feel I have right of reply, There is no stalking going on here.

No i am not totally innocent in this whole saga

Have a look at your posts I think you started it all by coming on here and dissing and abusing the pound into town idea I was trying to set up and subsequent posts thereafter.

Jim why dont you tell them all how last year someone lost control and 1) Threw a hot cup of coffee at me when I had my back to them 2) took a maglite torch from their cab and attacked me from behind and preceeded to hit me with it while I was on the floor and 3) when I did get up they sank their teeth into my chest, and the subsequent police caution and two week suspension that followed.

What started out as a bit of banter some 18 months ago, you lost it and could not handle someone standing upto you. For whatever reason you seem to have to justify yourself all the time.

We both know the truth of what happened and that is enough for me.

As for the harrasment im not the one who has to go around sticking up little headlines, mocked up pictures and diving off the station rank, and performing dangerous u turns just to get in front of me on St Marys street (by the way thanks for the Sheffield you left with me on Thursday).

Ive no doubt you will have something to say as you always do.

All that and only a caution? I take it there was some provocation involved.

Yes as i said 'not totally innocent' you dont get to that stage with just one person involved.

Five taxis on the rank and no one was prepared to come forward, no one from the public stopped and this was in broad daylight on the rank.

He got lucky, but did panic and went to the police to declare the attack, hence the caution.

Clearly all this has a history, but should it continue? :?

Easy question for me to pose, but surely the only sensible end to this is either coming to a civil accommodation, or for all those involved to ignore each other.

Of course you are absolutely right Sussex, it should not continue. I have been studiously ignoring Mr M since the incident he refers to.

It is clear to me that he wishes to goad me into an indiscretion so that he will be able to make a complaint to the police and the LO and fullfill he deepest desire, which is for me to lose my badge. This is not going to happen.

A very selective version of events from MR M, by the way.

I don't suppose you would like to give us your version so that we may act as judge, jury and execusioners?

You omitted to mention the suspension you got, Simon.

Why don't you tell the guys what that was for?

You forgot to mention the 30 or so Police officers who were in the station yard at the time.

There were no weapons and no bites. Were there? But it is not unusual for you to embellish a story.

Headlines? Pictures? nothing to do with me. Did it yourself.

U-turns in front of you? Not me. But of course, as you have admitted on here, you are not averse to pulling jobs from behind me, are you?

But I forgive you.

I surely have the right to "diss" the town for a pound idea, and was I not right to do so, after the legality of the scheme was questioned by the licencing department?

You claim to have been attacked with an offensive weapon, and yet no one saw it no other taxi driver none of the 30 or so police officers patrolling the station watching for football fans no members of the public. It was actually dark at the time, not broad daylight. I did not use a weapon, no torch, no iron bar, and come to think of it, there was no blood.
I admiited assault and received a police caution. end of.

The licencing committee interviewed me, and suspended me for two weeks. end of.

They interviewed you, and suspended you for one week.

Now, that was not for being assaulted, was it?
