Best of Both worlds here...I buy shell diesel for 117.9 pence litre in Berwick...its the same price as Morrisons, Tescos or Asdas is locally.

On the subject of Bio fuel....I notice a small Sticker on the Shell pump which states it has a 7% Bio fuel content and that they have to state it by law...hence the pump sticker.

Agreed with Nigel.

I only ever buy branded fuel, BP becuase of the Nectar points. I could buy Shell but don't like the way their Driver's Club points work with getting vouchers every three months and missing bonus points.

I fill up at the end of every day at the nearest 24 hr BP station on the way home, depending which direction I'm coming from. I will fill up with Ultimate Diesel if it's available.

I will spend a few pence more per litre on fuel, but it will be well spent saving on sorting out clogged injectors and fuel pumps from buying cheaper supermarket fuel otherwise.

I'm touring Asda this week starting in Wigan then Bradford, Lincoln (where I may rest my weary head), Milton Keynes, Wheatley and Swindon and not one drop of their fuel will go into my tank. My car doesn't like their fuel, well my last car didn't like their fuel so this one isn't having any at all. It's cr@p and not much cheaper than the decent stuff
