Todays gripe;
Two passengers get in, different drop-offs. At the first passenger asks how much so far I'll pay to here, waving a £20 note about - £4 on clock. Gets to second drop-off, £3 left to pay.........another £20 note

had one annoying brat who did insist on opening his window (front passenger) and hanging his arm right out

till i showed him how close i could get to a hedge his side.....

Nice one ! I had one about an hour ago mother immediately told him not to play with window and as i put it back up with front control button cries of "not fair" from child ! I then locked it and challenged the child to put the window down again !

Peoples excuses for parking on the friday taxi rank ! today we've had

"But I'm only nipping into that shop for 2 minutes "
"My wife's disabled and I can't find anywhere to park". When asked why he doesn't have a blue badge Oh we are waiting for one. This was a bloke in early 20's driving a battered old Golf GTI
"I can't park outside of the nursery because the markets in the way" of course there is a public car park only 200 yards from the nursery but they would have to pay for that

But the classic had to be when a driver pointed to the signs that say taxi rank................................................................
" you people are impossible how am I expected to be able to read that ! "

Punter looks surprised saying that different punter booked a car first.

I say ok then I will take them instead.

Punter says no that's alright they can wait.

My point is why don't punters just mind their own business.

we get that a lot at Morrisons when our customers get a cab quickly whilst others are waiting ages for the ones that have the freephone " I've been waiting longer wheres my taxi ? " I always ask them who they booked with then sorry they'll be along in half an hour

'I've been stood waiting 20 mins for you to turn up' - s'funny cos I've been sat 1st turn round the corner for the last half hour and only got the job 3 minutes ago !

'I've been stood here half an hour waiting for you to turn up' - Well you were'nt stood here 25 minutes ago when I first turned up, waited ten minutes for you during which time I sent 5 text alerts saying I was here and then left !

'Why did you drive off ?' - Well I waited nearly ten minutes outside your house, got fed up and left. And its taken another 15 minutes for you to call back and rebook, and then a further 5 minutes after coming back before you got in the car....... 'Well we were'nt ready'.
