Well I think that Jubilee would be mad not to supply anyone who wants to buy one of there vehicles.

Are we saying no more Mondeos, Skodas, Vectras etc are to be used as HC, cos those heathen PH boys use them, or visa versa.

some how Nige has got the lti blarb that they (jubillee)are the touts company and only LTI, are dedicated to taxi drivers whickh of course is untrue, you could go into a showroom and buy LTI tomorow.

Well I don't know if he had anything to do with it, but as you'll know TfL are re-reviewing their revised Conditions of Fitness, which were supposed to be set in stone for 10 years at least.

That's seems mainly due to legal action by Cab Direct, but presumably if they get in, all the rest will as well, including Jubilee.

Geoff the solid information is in the testing, these vehicles were tested before they were converted "not after". All I said to the London lads was I'm glad I didn't buy one because I was close to signing on the dotted line for one, seeing them in action I'm glad I didn't, I told them all the problems that we were having with them up here like the steep step, the ramps were to steep to push a wheelchair on, loads of noise, water leaks, broken door handles, Doors going out of line etc etc. They drive nice and look nice Geoff but put 200,000 on the clock and see how they drive then.

both the tx1 and the pergeot contverted was tested in exactly the same way and have exactly the same certificate.

the ccars had dummies belted in and they were smashed up against a wall at 50mph.
