Teenager kicking the back of the passenger seat.

His mum apologises and says he has autism.

I asked if it affects his walking as if he carries on that's what he will be doing. [-X

I do hope you didn't make your own butter!

Plain Rice and Poached Fish, if you like Marmite have it on dry toast, if you don't like Marmite - vitamin B12 Tablets.

NO DAIRY.

Get well soon.

Talk Talk

I have been having a lot of issues lately getting into email so I contacted them yesterday after about an hour doing a text chat with an Indian tech support person was told I have to update my email settings. How can I do that if i can't log in I asked naively. Oh we'll do it for you and by the way you will not be able to get into email for 24 hours !

I love India.

I love Indians.

But I would never use the services of any company that has a call center there.

Not on your nelly.

I’ve been with TalkTalk for the best part of 20yrs. Connection wise they have always been brilliant and I have had few problems with them. But, when you do have problems, their support is atrocious to say the least. Thing is, they’re always competitive especially with their TV deals.

The thing is that the rates will be going up again in April so we are going to paying a lot more then anyway. Perhaps if I let them put it up a little now I might be sufficiently in credit to not have an even bigger rise then !

Stupid drivers.

Did a two-car job the other day.

The first driver just ahead of me dropped first, on some ice. #-o

I didn't.

He then tried to reverse out and crept forward a bit instead. Stopped and did precisely the same again.

It was only when I went over and suggested he took it out of 1st gear and put it in reverse that he got off the ice. #-o

*#!^~ rail unions

was originally going to go the day of the cruise THEN rail strikes announced so booked a hotel to travel on the 5th and have a day in port before we sail

Was going to have to go by rail as there are no coach services from Peterborough to anywhere any more Leicester St Margarets being the nearest but can't get there anyway

Today they have announced they are going to go on strike on the 5th as well. So now I have to drive down and park the car but cruise is one way so fly back to BHX which means having to get to Southampton later in January to fetch car back. Cost for that between £150 and £350.00

So I thought why not a one way car rental so one way car RENTAL IS A SHADE UNDER £200.00  a little Corsa for one day although one company admitted they had doubled their prices because of the strike !

so looks like cancel my hotel and go down in own car on the day and then have to get down to Southampton at the end of the month to get car back !

so an extra £300 added onto the cost of the cruise and I've still got to pay the rail fare down just to get the car back !

So why not get a taxi from Stamford next grotsville to Southampton, and a train home from BMX?
