I have a smart meter BUT my energy supplier estimated my gas bill whilst using the actual meter reading for my electric.

It will be interesting to see what happens at the end of January

Road works and potholes.

If only the road works were to repair the potholes. [-(

have you noticed the estimates are always higher than the actual reading?

my leccy is £45 in credit after this months £66 grant

my gas (horror) is £65 in in credit after the £90 DDM this month

Best news yet is the 2023/24 cost of living grant..lol

plus 10% on my state pension/10% on my wages both from April 1st

I'll be a state pensioner within a couple of months, but because my wife will still be working even if I might not be I'll not qualify for some of those potential pensioner hand outs.......the DWP do not take into account the marital rule of "Whats hers is hers and whats mine is hers also".......the difference between "Means tested" and just plain "Mean" carries no weight

ive had lots...lol

wifey wont get the SP for 5 years, pension credit is impossible to get unless both are on SP, Ive had the COL, the £500 whatever it was, and theres more to follow (Go Rishi!)

With topups, 1x SP and us both doing 60hrs a month on the NMW we are better off than when i was a PH operator, and Cazoo bought my car...

Punter that didn't stop talking.

Had one in the car for a really long job and she didn't stop for hours.

Then at the end she said thanks and apologised for talking too much.

If you know you are doing it that bloody well stop. ](*,)

HGVs are restricted to 56 arent they?

speeding will show on tacho cards which are now often downloaded to a website

When we had a couple of Merc minibuses one of them had a restrictor set at 56 but the other didn't have a restrictor, I think it was and age thing. The restricted one was awful on the motorway, it seemed so slow.
