Well now then, what shall we do here then, maybe we could join loads of times with loads of different usernames and disrupt the sites membership to the point of leaving, or we could maintain a professional approach and wish you boys all the luck in the world.

After getting over the hurt of not recieving an invite to join, I still can't make my mind up, maybe I'll do a bit digging first.

Nice to see you have a full board dedicated to the OFT investigation, obviously you are still confident that this government are keener to look after your best interest than they are to maintain service levels to the general public, but you'll dodge the real questions and look to insult individuals. ............. or will you.

Looking forward to whatever I decide.

Why would people want to do that unless of course list owners banned them for speaking up for themselves.

What did no one from your site pass on your e-mail? Tut tut how remiss.

As you are here have you anything to say regarding closed hidden e-mail addresses getting loose as it seems mine escaped on its own? You are not harbouring vipers in your boosom are you?

Remember the three legged racers? Where are they now, one wonders.

Thank you Geoff for your observations, fortunatly you have your mate Maurice on here to back up all the claims of censorship, unfairness and the like.

What I will say, as a word of warning to the administrators of this site, is that peoples views should never be questioned however their attitude towards others should be checked as the bad attitude of a few stop people from joining and more importantly contributing.

dont need Maurice to back up claims, adjudication can be had merely for following the debate, something Mick you cannot have done.

To follow a debate on-line takes time, time I would rather spend with my 6 week old little girl, or getting sleep because of her.

It surely wasn't to much to ask for everyone to resect each other during a time when both Nidge and myself had more pressing personal matters to attend to, and thats aside actually working for a living.

B. Lucky

BTW when have you ever been banned or had any of your posts deleted, my concerns were expressed privately.

yes they were, can I say in all honesty that it is not possible to spend too much time with your children, and that is right and very understandable and you will regret if you dont.

having said that justice needs time to administer, if its done it must be done properly.

as for having to work for a living we all spend to much time on that and its is in all our interests to find ways to earn more and work less.

thats what I advocate and there is much scope for that.

stay well give my love to the baby.

If you didn't receive an invite Mick, then it wasn't deliberate, as I said to you months ago on taxiforum.com, if we were to start a forum then everyone would be invited, or I wouldn't bother - since Mick and Alan joined at the end of last week I assume that you knew about it.

I don't really understand your point about the the OFT investigation though Mick, nor your point about dodging the questions and insulting people.

I think the OFT will be the start of the most fundamental change in decades, so I thought it worthy of a seperate forum.

If they give the trade a 'clean bill of health' or anything like it then it will be deleted.

An informal, unstructured small group Maurice.

BTW, I am not the owner of the site, I was just the most IT literate (or least IT illiterate) and thus configured the forum, and by default became 'administrator', but the intention was to let the forum administrate itself, as far as was possible.

What has happened to your latest post old chum. The plenty might be reduced to a few. Have they put it in the waste bin? If so a man of your moderation, temperate nature and standing shouldn't have to put up with such an indignity! If I see a post of yours (quite a number) that I believe should see the bottom of a bin at least it should be my choice to put it there.
