Not 'selective' Mick, just whether 'relevant'.

The topic was getting free plates, and you seem to object to others getting one, while you freely admit to accepting one yourself, that's why I can't understand you being critical of others for doing what you did.

Do as I say, not as I do??

As for the saloon plate you bought, I didn't mention that because it wasn't relevant.

You've told us before that you didn't make money on it, no one ever questioned that or suggested that you did, so I didn't mention it, and can't see why you do now!

With regard your statement about asking the council for a surrendered/revoked saloon plate on a non-transferable basis, what bull$hit, what I actually enquired about was the reason that plate had NOT been re-issued to the person who was top of the councils waiting list. When I was told there was no longer a waiting list I asked for another to be started in order to re-allocate any plates returned to or revoked by the council and for the re-issuance to be on a non-transferable basis to stop anyone from profiteering from the plate itself, and of course I asked for my name to be included on the list.

You are, both Suspect and yourself Dusty masters of mis-quotation, you both read selectively and then look for ways to re-arrange the words to be-little the original writer.

Well that's not my recollection of what you posted about it Mick, are you sure it's not your memory that's being selective rather than our quotations??

I've put the scenario that I described above to you several times, both on TTFUK and on TOF, and you never denied it then, so why now??

I'm not trying to belittle anyone, just trying to get to the facts.

Is that why I was elected unanimously then.

Talk to the regional office Wharfie, I know what the members within my branch want, and I will do everything in my power to deliver.

Are you.

no dusty you have it a little wrong!

he objects to Andy getting a free plate he cannot sleep with just such a horrible act taking place, a tout, a private hire bod, someone he does not like!

in micks horrible world nobody should get on unless he approves and he does not approve!

fortunatly for us all Andy does not need Micks or anyone elses approval.

Those are the facts Dusty, maybe you could recollect in more detail what you thought I had wrote.

Well at least we have had it confirmed that he has been waiting 26 years.

Why would a person turn down something, that he every year requests?

What about the lads who have been waiting 19,20,21,22 years? Is that OK?

Id have thought you'd have "confirmed" it before you put it on your home page mate

The lads who have been waiting 19,20,21,22 years are now selling their plates for 9,10 & 11 K.
These are the same PH lads who have been bellyaching for years about fair play, closed shops, plates for all and plate transfers.

Make you think

So do you think your treatment of a brother member was either fair or just Wharfie.

I destroyed NO e-mails Wharfie, what I did was remove a section of a privatly owned website. Please don't flatter yourself that it was in anyway because of you, I didn't want to have that kind of section within the site in the first place, if you didn't agree with the ethics of the site why did you join and then contribute so much that you were the sites top poster. As the legal publisher of the site I was responsible for site content, and I didn't want the responsibility of people making comments I published without having resonable recourse, and that was my right.

TTFUK is up for sale Wharfie, why not give it a bash, why not have you views so heavily critised it makes you wonder why you carry on, put your head on the block. I may not agree with Sussex Man but I have a respect for him now that I didn't have before, and thats because he's had the balls to do it. Pity you haven't.

oh realy? thats the line is it Now Mick you are straying into uncharted waters, I said nothing on your site that was not true and could not be substantiated in a court of law, neither did I berate a brother or say anything for that matter which was not official T and G policy!

what I did do was advise a brother, on the way forward, those e-mails proved that and on asking you to read them you destroyed them, not move destroy.

you was asked to publish nothing that was not true, nothing!

then you published artiicles that were poison Mick, poison in your sick attempt to burn me at the stake, what is more I was promised by nige that I would be back on, and mick you destroyed all my e-mails not moved destroyed!

jesus I dont know where you expect this kind of behaviour to get you judas Mick you are judas.

Nothing has been destroyed Geoff you are just unable to view them.

The other member concerned didn't take the view you were offering advice but moreso that you were having a go.

I asked you to comment and I expressed my concerns, you did nothing but berate me, and all of the other members.

Nidge did phone me and he did ask that you be reinstated, at the time I did agree but it had to wait as I was on my way into work. Then when I came home I discovered more obsenities directed towards me by yourself on here, I don't need your grief Geoff, I may have to put up with you elsewhere but I certainly don't have to on my own site. I phoned Nidge and told him how I felt, he agreed that your behaviour was no longer appropriate for a member of our site.

Sorry.

Ah so it was not my behaviour on your site that you objected to but my behaviour on this site? that is a revelation, it gets worse!

That may well be the case in your manor Wharfy, but down here there is nothing in it.

Westminster's local agent has a fixed rate for fully com, max no claims, which is the same for PH and HC.

When do you expect to get a "few" rank jobs though, or do you want to go sit on a rank in that queue and be on a list at the office.

Whatever I do, will be based on having the choice.

If I choose to do this, that or the other, will be my choice. A choice shared by all, not just the choosen few.

I would also like to point out that the ONLY time you will pick up a flagger is when the pubs and clubs kick out, and if your not busy with pre-booked work then you ought to pack it in completely. Also on the same point, if you are on your way to a pre-booked job and a flagger sticks his arm out would you stop and let down the punter who has bothered their ar$e to phone you in the first place.

B. Lucky

Well I don't agree with that.

I get flagged by customers daily, and no longer work when the pubs and clubs chuck out.

Would I pick up a flagger on the way to another job? Well I don't at present for two reasons, firstly I'm not licensed too, secondly I don't think the girls in the office would be best pleased, if I returned the job to them.
