Assuming they have nobody qualified and that position seems to be permenantly vacant, perhaps you could offer them the use of your services, for the consideration of a time related fee?

Its not about balls mate .................. and lets face it a few on here shouldn't comment as they don't have the balls to even disclose their identity.

Mr Flanagan was democratically elected by the members of the London Branch .............. whatever you think of him is of little or no consequence.

Speaking out about issues you believe in is far different on the www than it is in the real world ................... but you know that.

To be honest Sussex you can take that anyway you want mate.

It is not my decision who represents the members in each branch ............ including my own ............... that decision is down to the membership in each area ............... and that is how it should be.

Yes, and challenging the vested interests is a lot more difficult than sucking up to them.

As I recall there was only one national figure who even attempted it, and he was put straight back into his box

And don't forget your several complaints about your real name being disclosed on the forum [-(

And while I'm clearly not as big and brave as some in the trade, I'm the only person who's publically spoke out about the vested interests in my manor. :)

I agree, it just that the OAP wants it all.

As confirmed by the recent press release. :-$

Would some one please post this notice to TDO, under 'Is this the quietest taxi forum in the world?'
Some of us refuse to post there.

The GMBPDB is aware of correspondence relating to our activities in
Brighton.

The GMBPDB will NOT respond on this site, we believe it lacks integrity.

We are of course willing to debate any issue relating to our activities,
suggested sites are bigotedremarks.com or Terrystosh.com

Mr BB asked if someone would post this. Don't know why he could'nt do it, but as ever, I'm happy to stimulate debate.

Yes and even though I'm aware of peoples identities I respect their rights and continue to refer to them using the username they have chosen.

Pity you don't.

Well I suspect the folks on here will still be able to sleep properly without any GMB input.

But bearing in mind the GMB have used sites like this, and only sites like this, to recuit, then such actions are par for the course.

Message to Mr GA.

Did I miss your reply to the 'did you have prior notice of the press release issued under your and your member's names'? 8-[

Cos I can't believe you wouldn't know such a basic thing as councils don't license buses. But then again. :-k

Well considering the content of both the GMBPDB's press releases then I suggest reference to the Ladybird book of Taxi Licensing before engaging in any debate. :-s

As for integrity

Meaning?

If I refer to anyone by their real name then it's because they've chosen to disclose it themselves.

Perhaps the problem is that one day they want their name up in lights, the next they don't.

So if they can't make up their minds, what chance the rest of us keeping up with them?
