The Archers theme tune.....followed by classical favourites CD.....works everytime....calms them down.

Worth a try even if you can't stand proper music.

ever had the one in the back who whistles out of tune to the music on the radio?.....

Often wondered about that type of situ - if he was born in China he would not be Chinese but as you say he would probably be dual nationality passport wise.

About nine months ago;

Business man passenger gets in at Birmingham New Street Station.

Me: “Good morning sir. Where would you like to go?”

Passenger: “Dale Street”, & gives me the name of some office building that I don’t recognise.

Me: (Thinking he must mean Dale End in Birmingham city centre), “Do mean Dale End?”

Passenger: “No Dale Street.”

Me: (Now confused, I brake & stop 25 yards from the station ranks. I’m now thinking Dale Street, Bearwood, Smethwick in Sandwell District ….. lived there as a boy). “Do you mean Dale Street, Bearwood in Smethwick?”

Passenger: “I don’t know which area! It’s Dale Street; do you want the post code?”

Me: “Yes please”

Passenger: “It’s Dale Street, M4 Blah, blah, blah”

Me: “You’re in the wrong city sir!!! You want Manchester, this is Birmingham!!!”

Passenger: “You’re joking!!”

Me: “I’m not joking. Look up there!” (me pointing to a sign above the station). “Look it says Birmingham New Street!!”

Passenger: “Ooooohhhhhhhhhh Sh*t, sh*t, sh*t, sh*t!!!!

Me: “I can drive you to Manchester by taxi, but ….. “

Passenger: “Oh, why don’t you just fu** off.”

And out he gets.

Couple of weeks ago picks up this young lad and on route to his chosen starting pub...

" Feck sake m8 ! look at the t*ts on her ! " he said.
" Ah ! but can she make a pot of soup ? " i replied without taking my eyes off road.
Then after a very quiet and thoughtful 5 mins he asks..
"wot's soup gotta do with her t*ts m8 ? "
" You'll learn son " me said...

O to be young again eh ??

"Things are not looking so good at work I was thinking of giving the taxis a try" :?

or, "You must be well in with the boss if he's letting you drive this car" :x

or, "You are 15 minutes late, but I should not complain because if you and your mates had half a brain between you then you could have proper jobs and there would be no taxis to pick me up"
