Is that a bit like "Creme de la creme" without the French overtone?

I think he mixed it up a bit with one of the directors of Norwich City Football Club.

She uses cream in her cooking and he mis-spelt her name by missing out the 'i'!!

Et Tu Brute.

Given the Thread heading Toots not squared, and as the TX is a non-starter for me as a full grown adult, care to suggest a preference for the VW or the Merc in my case?

A Merc of course it goes without saying. Having said that the vehicle Brummie has is very fine too :D

If you are looking for prestige then it has to be the Merc.I quite like the Nissan NX8? as it has the Tiptronic option.I only do auto.

As for dealers, although I bought from them,Cab Direct are a bunch of tossers. When the first Merc was barbecued the 'Customer Service Manager' declared it was "Absolutely nothing to do with us".
This just 9 months after they had taken £33000 off me!

I'd have been inclined to park said Merc outside cab direct with the words 'let the buyer beware' slapped on it

Getting back to the thread . . .

It had it's 12k inspection on Thursday. 1 litre of Oil was all it needed.

Hopefully thats it until about 19K when it's due a service according to the little computer.

Not liking the footbrake (handbrake) too much, they adjusted it again, but it still seems weak.

Well the inevitable happened tonight, done a tight turn and the wheels wouldn't straighten out properly leaving the buzzer sounding.

I guess it would be fair to say I was expecting it, hence I booked it in for the modification (will it work?) last week.

Anyhow Merc 24 came out to me, pushed the button again, and the steering centered. The guys now disabled the feature until KPM modify it in about 7 weeks, although he did tell me SG Smith's of Crodon will do the work for me and bill One80, so I might book it in with them on Monday and have an away day in Croydon.

Two hours lost time.
