The following was sent to the NTA but is applicable to all licensed drivers;


Hi,

I’m work on ITV’s Tonight with Trevor McDonald programme. We’re looking to speak to someone who has been involved in a collision with a cyclist - and it has been the fault of the cyclist – for a programme we have in production.

I'm a cyclist. Lycra and all.

Can I apply and relate all the stories about numpties in cars / vans / buses who wipe out 3000 people a year without the usual one liner of 'But I pay road tax'.

So do I, times 3.

It's yet another 23 year old producer straight out of his media studies degree plying for a shock tactics documentary in order to leave his mark amoungst the other 50'000 people that obtained Media Degrees this year.

Why do I cycle?

I love it, and I look around at some taxi drivers in London hauling their guts out from behind the wheel with their 7 chins, and think . . Never! :shock:

Anyway, Wickers world is starting. :D
