Here in the States its veterens day .. . .while giving thanks, it occured to me I would not be here, probably, if not for them . . .it further occured to me, had not Britian dug in its heels and said NO! we will not!, Hitler would have eventually kept moving West. I can't imagine how horrible the V2 rockets must have been . . ., no idea of when of where . . .to kids it must have been like a horror movie. . . A tip of the hat to your brave soldiers, your nation . . .and Mr. Churchill . . .anyone can be brave for a short while, to keep it up for years is one of the more memorable acts in world memory. From a bloke who wasn't there my sincere appreciation, and to our vets too . . . Humbly and Regards, Tim |

It doesnt actually help when we had a Prime Minister who thanked the Americans for helping us out during the blitz between September 1940 and May 1941. But that aside many Americans have given their lives in the cause of freedom. CC |
