Yet another website attempting to charge for leads. There must be a few dozen at least, by now.

I'd be reluctant to provide such personal details just to obtain information :-|

Yeah Yeah....its only different because its a revamp of a million other similar scams..oops schemes. and your blatently plugging it for free in a bid to take our hard earned readies and then pass on the details of our client base to the highest bidder.

Yup.....every day when we look in the Mirror we all see the word "rekcuF bmuD a m'I " tattoed or our Neanderthal like driver foreheads..

It really isn't like that please read the intro page properly you'll understand the concept and no I havnt been with cheaper taxis or better fares or any other taxi client based site. Also we not taking your business were giving you ours.
This is about taking our work and passing it to guys like you various areas of the uk when the cost of taxi travel become not cost efficient and clients take planes and trains.
We despise these sites i've been in the game 22 yrs and know exactly what's going on.
I note your concerns about the personal details on the form though. What you guys won't know is that this has been set up via a contact list of similar drivers who rent creditcard machines from the same company as me
many of them are already interested and I have spoken to some of them personally, so I think we havnt considered that dome of you are seeing us as cold calling I wouldn't give out some of that stuff either now you mention it.
All I can tell you this a genuine attempt you unite like minded drivers.
I am also the vice chairman of the hackney carraige section of unite for Salford hackney carraiges. Paul joy is my branch secretary and I'm sure if you chose you could contact him via unites office in liverpool and I'm sure he would give me a verbal reference.

We will in good time, but just another point to make the network work from day one we need to know where you are so it can be successful.

folk wont enrol (well, submit details) not knowing the cost, simples

where they are is immaterial, unless you are saying you dont want members in certain areas (due to lack of work...)

your playing it too close, give em 6 months free, let em try it

I think we should all get together and do our own type.

My favourite would be a site which we could all plot where we are dropping and customers coming off a plane/boat/train can ring us to do a deal direct having logged onto a site seeing if a cheaper cab could be available soon.

Not at all our database needs defined parameters to organise groups of drivers in specific areas. Nobody is excluded the more the merrier.
