Well is everybody happy :D that the football season kicks off again today!
I dont know about other areas but it is a h3ll of a miss here in the summer.
We miss the fares,we miss the banter, but one thing we dont miss is Titus Bramble  .
Just watch Big Sam get the Toon back up there  :D.

Hi Badger

Could you not give your post title a bit more definition with the word "Football" in. I think it would be more eye catching and create a bit of interest.

Regards

John

But I probably wouldn't have read the thread if it mentioned the word "football".

As it is, I thought it might have been about the Metrocab, so I had a peep

to be honest just putting the word "FOOTBALL" in the subject title was enough for me :D If you were a cabby and you worked yesterday/last night you would know why the word "FOOTBALL" was in subject field. It's been the busiest day/night for a few months :D

Dave Jones "manager" first game into the season " I think I might have made a mistake in letting Chopra go" Dooah and he gets paid a kings ransom to to drop clangers like that.

If you get a born goal scorer (Chopra) you have more often than not got to shell out at least the same. Chopra could not do it on his own last season " no back up", and it will be the same for Fowler as good as he still is.

The trouble was business wise they made 4 1/2 mill profit on him in a 12 month, short term gain - long term loss!

I see Rooneys injured with a foot injury.
These foot injuries are becoming far to frequent in football these days and i blame the stupid lightweight plastic boots that the players wear  .
They do not offer any protection to the foot whatsoever #-o
What next....slippers

West Ham not been kicked out of the premier league for cheating has made me think whats the point in watching it as you know now the money teams can get away with anything.

I always felt that if they were not going to do West ham properly, then they should a least for one season allowed an extra side to stay up i.e Sheff Utd. At the end of the season four to go down!

The West Ham situation was a classic case of those in authority ignoring illegal activities.

Now what other trade does that remind you of?
