| Post subject: | I have a stalker, you may have noticed... |
I joined this illustrious website in 2005, and have made almost 2,500 posts in that time. I have made no great effort to disguise my true identity, and personally think that posters should not be able to hide behind a cloak of anonimity and from that position snipe at others with posts that at least distort the truth, or are downright lies, bordering on slander, (or is it libel?) anyway, to cut to the chase. A "Mr Motorvator" joined in july 2010, and has made the grand total of six (count 'em) posts in that time. I knew his true identity from the start, from his style, (hi all) of writing, in the same way that banned posters on here who have returned in disguise have soon been outed. In the six posts that Mr M has made, he has managed to suggest that I, on a regular basis overload my taxi. I do not, ever. He sought advice as to what to do, and I advised him in my posts to make a complaint to the council. He has not done so. He also made another allegation, stating that I was illegally operating a (County) council contract. Again I am not, I again advised him to make a complaint. As far as I am aware he has not. Is it fair that he should harrass me in this manner? Amazingly, because I robustly rebutted these unfounded allegations, Mr M made a complaint to the police that I was harrassing Him! I still do not know the nature of the complaint, but two police officers were visiting my home when I was at work, and have not returned since. Mr M also claims in one post to be under "constant harrassment" from me, and also that I "have issues" with him. As I have posted on here, Mr M deliberately took a fare from behind me in contravention of byelaws, which may seem to you my friends that He is harrassing Me. I have no "issues" with the man. If Mr M's harrassement to my good name continues on here, I will have to ask Alex to remove him and his libellous posts. Good (or bad) natured banter I can take, but suggesting I operate contrary to the law is uncalled for. |

No he shouldn't, and I hope in comes on here to say he isn't. There are dozens of folks I don't like locally, but I wouldn't dream about stalking them on the net. However it does confirm to me why this trade will never amount to much nationally when folks can't even work together locally. Whoever is at fault. |

I suspect Alex will take a sympathetic view on any request. Come on Mr M, I've cross swords with Mr Jimbo for many years, but deep down I love him.

I think we've all had our moments of light hearted pops at each other (ie butch, cropped haired, bovver booted toots ) and some not so light hearted. Tbh I didn't even realise that the posts made by Mr M were aimed at anybody on here. It is reassuring to know that admin do keep an eye on things and I think if things become too heated they will act accordingly as Sussex suggested

FPMSL!!! Yes I've noticed the lively banter between you two from the start. But as I have said before, do a Mr GBC; his method works. |

Even I like Jimbo even though I slag him or his 3 door 10 seater cab off there is no malice intended
I hear he could be getting a bread van shortly
The thing is with TDO its a great source of information although sometimes jumbled up due to different opinions but if you ever need anything sorted, or need to find out where to get something, or how to try and fight a council just ask, and someone will know. We all do the same job be it hack or PH, even though PH work to different rules, and in some places think they are taxeeeee drivers, we all look out for each other, or should do in our manors Jimbo just ignore what the Muppet writes its only words and they cannot hurt you like that old school rhyme, and as the other saying goes what comes around comes around
