"to optimise"

(screw the price down)

ive had 1 form that requested my turnover and profit yet when i asked if they had a duty to ensure prices were sustainable they said no

im sure on my CPC course contracts had to have a "consideration" (benefit) for both parties, wheres the "fair trade" in this, even bolovian coffee growers get that!

For a "bus" service.................

Quote:
These are ‘minimum cost’ contracts, in which you tender the price you require to operate the service – all farebox revenue and concessionary travel reimbursement will accrue to the County Council.
You may submit a non-compliant bid (including minimum subsidy) provided you:
· submit a fully compliant tender as well
· state clearly the basis for the non-compliant tender
Please note - minimum subsidy bids will only be considered if an operator has also submitted the most economically advantageous compliant tender.

Are you on their "framework"? 'Cause our County Council wanted all sorts of policies, equal opportunities, environmental impact, £10million public liability, turnover etc

Sure as eggs are edible, it'll screw the price down to the minimum

This idea is for buses this year. What is the betting that it will be for taxis next year.

im on - barely hanging onto the edge of reality

when i went to "the meeting" to get approved they claimed a contract should be done by the same car/driver, i asked "how does that work on a big circuit when any car can be sent" - she shrugged her shoulders

but now its getting harder for owner/drivers

BTW if you have less than 5 employees you dont need the H&S, racial equality, disability equality and rest of the gumpf.........

Methinks the answer to the councils woes can be found in this article.
