how do i go about getting taxi advertising put on to my cab

If your council allows this, go and find a good company who requires it, try to get a deal that suits you both, get them to contact a sign company and have them made up take your cab for fitting and then let the company see it,
Ask a local paper how much they charge per week for a full page add, x52 to help you work out a price

All depends what and who you want to advertise for.

Quite a few of the lads round here advertise for tyre companies and garages who give them a good discount when they need repairs, tyres, tracking, punctures etc etc.

Type into google 'taxi advertising Aberdeen'.
