What issues do you consider boring in life, the news or anywhere else for that matter? There was a tsunami on an Indonesian Island in the last few days & they have just announced that the Tsunami Warning System was broken when it occurred. I thought a tsunami was a force of nature & nothing to do with technology!!! |

Boring is also an unincorporated community located in Clackamas County, Oregon, United States, on Oregon Route 212. It is approximately eight miles south of Gresham and about the same distance from Clackamas, both suburbs of Portland. |

If you hear a cricket chirping and you have a watch, you can estimate the temperature where the cricket is. If you can hear more than one, you can tell whether they are experiencing different temperatures. To calculate the "cricket temperature," count the number of chirps in a 14-second period. Add forty to the result, and you have a rough estimate of the Fahrenheit temperature of the cricket. |

If a sardine is more than four inches long then technically it’s a pilchard. Women lose more calories faking an orgasm than actually having an orgasm. Every 4 years, monthly-paid staff have to work an extra day – for NOTHING! Bananas are very difficult to grow in Canada, which has nothing to do with nibbling beavers. If you didn’t have knees, you wouldn’t be able to sit down. There is a part of your body that only exists if you are doing something. Using hexadecimal (base 16) numbers you can represent the top and bottom 4 bits of an 8 bit number using 2 hexadecimal digits Homo sapiens is the only primate that does not have a bone in its penis. The serial number of my left hand flange bracket is 345211-B St John's Wood underground station is the only station in London that doesn't contain letters from the word ‘Mackerel’ |

Facetious is the only English word that contains all the vowels once and in alphabetical order. I have been told there is another, but thinking of it would be too boring. |

With regard to "Every 4 years, monthly-paid staff have to work an extra day – for NOTHING!" Just to be really boring - except every one hundred years, except every four hundred years - but I don't suppose they are interested in my amendment to your statement BC. |
