Hiya all, first post so be kind Waiting for a booking last night on Lower Briggate, I'm a Wakefield badge (PH) but god it is a free for all round there. Why do you hacks put up with it, seems the same every week. I was there maybe a maximum of /7 minutes and probably could have took a fare every minute which is whats happening. You pay enough to licensing so ask them to sort it |

So what you're suggesting is there may be an unmet demand in Leeds? |

Next time there is a licensing matter on the Licensing Committee Agenda go along, try to speak on the agenda item, then slip in the enforcement issue & ask the councillors why a 24/7/365 public service is not supported by 24/7/365 enforcement. Also, point out that Nottingham has this level of enforcement & to some extent so does Brum now. It's a policy that all licensing areas should be lobbying for!! |

My son and I were picking up a pre-booked group last Thursday night/Friday morning from Oceana in Nottingham. We had barely turned the engines off before enforcement were over to check that we were booked. |

Why not go where the punters are instead of sitting on a rank, you could even elbow yourself in where the PH hang out and nick there unbooked punters
If the work does not come to you, go find it Mind you there was loads of Halloween parties on on Saturday night, and your mask just may have been to scary

I thanked the enforcement officer for checking. |

And do I love nicking PH work; so easy. First you say to the punter, "What name is it?" So they tell you. Then you say, "And where are you going to?" So they tell you. Then I say, " That's the one; jump in please." And they do. But on Saturday I suspect there were loads of private Halloween home parties. |
