I see BAA are repeating the Edinburgh exercise and installing barriers at the entrance to the drop off zone at Southampton Airport. No doubt fun will ensue! |

No doubt fun will ensue! Oddly...The Barriers at Edinburgh are at the Exit of the Drop off Zone and not on the way in to it...its pay and go. |

Unless they plan to change the direction of travel this will be pay & drop. It could also have an interesting bearing on the 15 mins free in the car park for pick ups. |

The airports are all converting one by one the amounts of revenue generated are too large to be ignored I reckon Stansted will be next |

On occasions at Stansted, they already close of the drop off so you have to use the carpark. |

It's pay £1 to drop off at East Mids and over £2.00 to pick up. |

yup and Luton,Birmingham Coventry (50p last time I went there) I think we can probably assume within 2 years all airports will charge to drop off including Heathrow and gatwick |

Don't forget that at East Midlands, if you want to pay for the pick up with a credit/debit card, they charge an extra £1.50 so the £2.00 pick up is then £3.50. |
