Any chance of attempted clearing/gritting the M9 and A89 to the airport? Just back from a 90 min run that normally takes 45-50. Amazed at number of cars doing 40 mph max, with not a rage in sight. Going back through on Tuesday, so no hurry.

Same round here in good old England. From Friday night at 20:00 hours until this morning at 06:00 hours total number of gritters seen by the the whole fleet was 1. The Council gates were closed all Friday night and all day yesterday, the roads round here were appalling a 5 minute job was taking 30 minutes, it was a busy night but it took to long to do a job so therfore makng it a normal night.[/i] |

I was gritted several times last night. My car is a mess but at least the roads are a little safer

co-incidence, good fortune or they read TDO, who knows, who cars? Just been back along the M9 tonight, (going to Granton on an account job), and the difference in the road condition was remarkable. Only took me 10 mins over average time. Hearing of all sorts of problems north of and around Perth. Hope the snow isn't heading back down this way. |

We tried snow in Plymouth once. We didn't like it so we won't have it again. If the locals here want snow they nip up to Dartmoor, then come back to nice clear roads.
