have the insurers ceased taking new business of taxi fleets (i.e. block insurance)?

Enquired about this today and wa stold to have "fleet" insurance i must have 5 vehicles or more

Was told a better option with less cars was to insure each car for any driver or with named drivers

mates just been charge £5K for an octavia to be used as a base car, upto 5 drivers (all named) cos it wont have any NCB attached to it, yet its a sort of co-op with 6 owner drivers, all paying thier own insurance, the obvious thing was fleet insurance
