Hi.
This is my first post but I don't know if it's in the right place?
I drive a hackney cab in St Annes on the fylde coast, but will be moving
to Linconshire in the next few weeks to be closer to my son and
grandkids. I have been told I need to do a knowledge test to drive in
Lincoln. Can anybody give me some help or advice, or is the best thing
study the A-Z of the city.
Thanks for any help, Phil.

Get in touch with the taxi licensing office for the area you will be working in and ask them what the full procedure is for getting a driver's licence in their area. If you need to pass a knowledge test, then the licensing office should provide a syllabus, for a fee obviously.

If you know where you will be working, the chances are that you might be able to find out some information on the council's website.

Where do you expect to be working?

We have a long standing member called Jimbo who works in Lincoln, maybe you can send him a PM.

Of course he will tell you its grim and the world is going to end soon, and that's on a good day.

Can't be any grimmer in Lincoln than it is in Blackpool.

Both teams relegated this year, we may have a lot in common.

Lincoln's not a big City, (small but perfectly formed) if all the east european ph drivers can do it, well so can you.

If you want to go Hackney, give me a buzz.....
