Got my new TW200 on the road yesterday,
Its a TW200 S SWB 12 plate
Price was £22,495
I drove it on taxi yesterday and asked customers on their views on it as there's quite a few now where i work drivers are giving up on the txs and buying TW200s and E7s,
90% of who i asked said they preferred the tx as its an iconic taxi and when your travelling in one you know its a propper taxi but the TWs not much like them as they look like standard minicab vans.
But imo the tw is more fuel efficient and drinks less fuel.
Most drivers who in the tx were paying nearly £200 on weekly fuel are saving about £50 on the tw and the tw is less hassle as more and more tx are giving people trouble some people changed the tx2 engine to tx1 and after just got fed up and got a E7 or TW.
But im happy got a new vehicle but problem is there's just not enough work, yesterday 8am-6pm only drove 53miles
