There cabs are now the worst cabs on the market, they are over priced, they catch fire or the engines self destruct.
They are cramped for the driver, and are useless on fuel, they cannot carry a full sized wheelchair, a proven fact

there is no perfect taxi if there was we'd all be driving one but you do seem to have it in for fx and tx cabs but not metrocabs (plastic hearses) which are probably just as deficient

Personal opinion: Overpriced crap.

Having said that, people have a perfect right to buy overpriced crap if they want to.
What pi$$es me off is when they are told they have to buy it.

Well of course no one is actually told that they have to buy it, or at least they shouldn't be.

Which may seem a pedantic point, but legally it's not, because as far as the law's concerned there's a world of difference between being told that you must buy LTI on the one hand, and on the other hand being told that you must buy a vehicle conforming to a specified standard that effectively only LTI can satisfy.

Skippys been posting guff about the TX Taxi coming to an end almost as long as Skulls been telling us Edinburgh is lifting the cap on taxi numbers.

Is it 8 years? 10 years now . . .? I've lost count.

Put it another way, we'll all be retired or 6ft under by the time either happens.
