I do not know if anyone else has encountered the problem that I have just come across.

I opened my e-mail section where I had something like 200 + e-mails stored, mostly for reference purposes, and apart from 1 or 2 from yesterday and today, the whole lot have disappeared Grrrrrr.

Just a mention in case any of you have the same happen - it might well be worth (that is if you do not already do it) saving correspondence that you might need in another file.

yes my ISP deleted all the emails in one of my accounts when they were having trouble with a server

Yes I am on Talk Talk, and using GMail for my e-mail address - lost around 185-200 e-mails that I kept, as one would keep a filing cabinet.

Checking it out on Google and it would seem that it has happened to quite a lot of others as well, admittedly at differing times. A shame that it has not been publicised.
