Dunham bridge into Lincolnshire from Nottinghamshire on the A57. 40 pence. It’s a long way round to avoid the toll. Privately built, privately owned, no other bridge can be built within 15 miles of it.
The butt of the joke by John Bisop and Jason Manford at separate gigs in Lincoln…

Punter gets in the car, do you take cards?

Of course I say, she then spends 10 minutes moaning about drivers not taking cards.

At the other end she pays cash. #-o

The standard of Referees at non league level ! 2 clear cut penalties not given loads of off the ball incidents missed and free kicks seemingly given based on player shouts rather than actually being close enough to see what happened

Linesmen at a minimum they should be fit enough to keep up with play not be level with the opposite penalty box trying to give offsides at the opposite end of the pitch !!!

Pot smokers

I walk mr doggy early doors, we both wear a HiViz coat, a very worried looking face popped out a front door followed by a cloud of smoke of a very herbal essence, same person drives a BMW of some value but doesnt work, he has a sizeable CCTV on his home too....

To be a referee or Assistant referee at that level means that they must have passed a fitness test. Why would an assistant referee be in one half of the field of play and giving an offside indication in the other half of the field of play?
I was a class 1 referee on the old system, now class 5 and I could not officiate in out of County leagues without passing the fitness test. The highest I could referee was the Leicestershire Combination and I could run the line on the Leicestershire senior league.
