Any one want to buy a Taxi, or should I say a Liverpool, private hire car. Its 36 years old. Left hand drive, but still managed to be plated as a Liverpool private hire car. How remarkable the problems people have getting a nearly new car plated. This flew through the test. It would seem you can almost plate any thing in Liverpool as a Private hire car. Nice Taxi though but 9,000 a bit steep .streetcars. http://www.bigapplerides.co.uk/

Well I suspect this is more 'classic car' than rust bucket, but I'm a bit sure about some of the claims, eg it had to be licensed as a taxi (in which case £9k is a steal  ) and that LCC's test is one thousand times stricter than the normal MOT.

No i am afraid its only plated as as private hire car . Which begs the a questions. It’s clearly a left hand drive .Now one of the important stipulation, for a Liverpool Private hire car is ,that it must be Right hand drive. How and why, did they make an exception, for this vehicle. I am all for vehicles being plated as private hire vehicles. But surely you just cannot chuck the rulebook out of the window , with something as fundamental as to which side the steering wheel is on. streetcars
