Picked up at a country pub on my way back to town, this girl seemed merry but not bladdered. Got the area she was goin to and set off, 10mins later i asked what number she wanted, and yes you guessed it, no answer!
She was flat out on the rear seat. So the window went down (freezing cold outside) shouted a few times and no response, so i went to the local cop shop and rang the bell. Got put through to a central call desk in another town who said they'd get someone over in about 10 mins.
1/2hr later an ambulance turned up with 2 ploice women close behind.
They couldnt wake her either so the plod got her purse out an found her address. They phoned her mother and another 1/2hr later she turned up, not very happy (was i??)
So the plod told her i'd been a model driver to to take her to the station and not throw her out at the side of the road, and she owed me £40!
After being threatened with arrest if she didnt pay, i was on my way!
Normally i wouldnt have taken a drunk but she didnt look it, and it was only 6pm.
But i was in a good mood after going to the match and seeing us beat Pompey 3-0!!
