One of our drivers got a letter from the Council, it must have been either someone on the street or in the cab who reported it, took plate No and vehicle, her husband who incidently is a councilor the letter starts off, I am contacting the Licensing dept on behalf of my wife who witnessed inconsiderate driving from a taxi driver who sounded his horn at pedestrians at pedestrian crossing traffic lights the letter from the Councilor goes on to say that we license these people, they are wearing our Council badges and they don't seem to be considerate drivers, the letter went on and on further well the driver who has got 43 years driving under his belt is fumming, just sent off stiff reply letter back to the Council |

ummmm, while I'm aginst bad and inconsiderate driving, until the local authority starts paying for te cost of the cab, the insurance, running costs, pays me a wage and covers me for my holidays, sick pay and paternity pay, not to mention contrubute to a pension........ They can KEEP OUT of the way I drive and run my business.
