Thats interesting Stuart, i remember reading something like that in PHM.
The people i speak to who know about these things say its great but it will not last. However they have been saying that for the last few years.
I thinlk if anyone is going to go down this route they had best be squeaky clean because the Inland Rev will be looking at these very very closely.
But if you are straight then go for it becuase it is not a mistake its legit. And if doing something legit saves you money. It cant be bad. :roll:

I've always thought that what seems to be to good to be true, often is.

However it's seems that this is a genuine tax break. If it means that you may have to pay your accountant a bit (or maybe a lot) more, to clear the extra £5,000 or more, then that's good business.

But I wonder how many of us will do it? :?

There was an aritcle about in the London Taxi Times a few months ago, by a qualified accountant.

I seem to recall that he thought that in general terms the drawbacks outweighed the benefits.
