Does anyone know if its possible to purchase a car new or old and get unlimited mileage warranty on it for private hire use? are there any companies that will do this? I am planning on upgrading my S-reg 406 to something newer

I think there is a firm called 'warrenty wise' that should be able to assist you.

I think Cab Direct do it on the E7, but it might be better to stick the warrenty money in the building society, then give it to one of those brokers.

Hyundai do them with a 5 year unlimited and KIA and Seat do 3 years, but wait until the middle of 2007 KIA are going to do a 7 year unlimited on the new car they are building in Europe.
All you have to do is keep the log book PLG then you get the full cover

I remember when looking for a car for Mrs Sussex (non-licensed) the Hyundai mob had a taxi/PH exemption to that warrenty.
