For anyone who might be thinking of laying out £550 to £700 for a pink rabbit having watched national TV on Thursday evening, please don’t.
Andrea Winders of Warrington Pink Ladies “taxis” looked decidedly uncomfortable during the interview, which is not surprising as the BBC disclosed today that the person behind the business was a convicted scam merchant who had just been released from jail having served a four year sentence for fraud. The BBC also found that the qualifications and claims of the veterinary experts were completely bogus.
The report said that the whole affair was nothing more than a scam and a cheap publicity stunt by a Warrington “taxi” company.
My advice is if you want a pink rabbit, visit Spec Savers and get a pair of pink tinted shades for about a tenner!
