We had a call today from a lady who was locked in her house and needed to get to the shops. Her husband had gone out and locked the door so she couldn't unlock it from the inside(?) She asked the driver to come up to the door take her key from her through the letter box and let her out! There's nowt as weird as folks!

Had a job about three years ago which turned out a gooden. Chap was well drunk. But he had his car with him. so I drove him home and my mate drove his car home for him. My meter read £115 pound. My mates didnt read a penny as he didnt have one.
Thinking about it I lost out a bit as he didnt have to pay for any fuel.

I would not take the chance of driving a punters cars. What if they are pulling a fast one and want to move the car from a to b and the cars not insured?. You can leave yourself open to all kinds of trouble!. |

Your own insurance usually covers you to drive any vehicle not owned by you or hired to you under a hire purchase agreement. Third party only.

I ask as this isn't a job I've ever before and there's always a first. As far as I'm aware most insurances allow you to drive another car with the permission of the owner. |
