It struck me as odd but humorous the other week, and I am sure others have got a better tale to tell.

Picked up four passengers and two were Premiership footballers, the fare only came to just over £7 and the one says come on lads chip in where's the money. The footballers concerned had to be at least on £15/£20k per week #-o

Another one was a female singer of international repute having her hair done at one of the 5 star hotel salons, the bill comes to £195, she gives them £200 in cash, and Umm just give me £3 and keep the rest, as if she needed the £3.

Jeesus I do not earn a fraction of what they get and many a time I have dropped someone a fiver. This is also something that I have noticed with the suits, as tight as a ducks a$se, and the opposite with someone who does not look like they can afford it.

I've had plenty of celebs in my cab over the years but the tightest and most unsociable has been the lead singer of simply red. What some people would class as a real azzhole.

Did he tip? No he didn't.

Regards

To be honest, I don't expect a tip, I want the right money for the job in the first place.

I picked up a retierd merchaqnt banker from Gatwick, they kept me waiting for a hour after everone else had come from customs etc due to lost luggage. on the way back he borrowed my mobil twice to speak to his son to explain why the would be late. plus a lot more fannying around on way. When I got to there £1 million house I took all there bags upstairs as they were old etc .he gave me 50p tip. I posted it back through his letter box as he needs it more than me...
