Capt keep hearing good reports about you, however Political predictions dont seem tobe your FORTE a Tory Govt no way.
MrT plant pot eh you might think a bit straighter if you stopped smoking the contents of one. That quote of mine about betrayal was from an old print comrade who spent 4 years as a prisoner of the Japs, one day he showed me the SCARS of when they NAILED him to floor it made me physically sick!! Take it from me he would killed you and that Welsh moron for your refusal to vote DISGUSTING!
OUR DAY WILL COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Terry, you really need to try and stay in touch with yourself, you go off on a rant about MrT and myself regarding rememberance day, something that never ever happened, and then try to justify it with a story about a print comrade.

The reason that many went to war was about a dictator trying to take over the world, the service people that took part to oust people like that from power so that we had a right to choose and not be dictated to. In other words total freedom, the likes of MrT and myself exercise that freedom that was given to us, and then god forbid you come along and tell us what we have got to do.

There again I suppose dictators come along in many different guises, I suppose you are a chip off the old block of your leader Herr Bliar. You will recognise the similarity's, the ministers under him were elected by the nation in a democratic vote - once they are installed they are then told by Herr Bliar - you will vote for xxx policy or you are out on your a**e.

There is no recourse for them so they follow the leader, is this what your mate went through the war for? I think not.

So the bottom line is that democracy goes as far as the ballot box, after that you get told as to how you will live - you are the one who is the moron by being a part of it. Look at the bigger picture and never follow the leader blindly, or otherwise you are just another lemming.

Terry your views are that of a bigot, your get personal to almost being racist and then try to dictate to others as to how they try to put things right. Your mate would probably have nodded in approval to the ones who are trying to alter what is fast becoming a fascist state, and then he would have kicked your a**e for being so blind and negative.

You lose your temper too often, it shows in your writing/scribble,lose your temper", lose the argument. Any decent guy negotiating opposite you, would eat you for breakfast, bullies never win.

Decisions can be made by those who do not turn up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There were these two Zulu’s and a Welsh recruitment Sergeant just outside of Rorke’s Drift the day before the famous battle and one of the Zulu’s says to the Welshman

“We hear that back in Cardiff you were responsible for recruiting hundreds to the British army, but there has been a formal complaint from this customer who you refused to take for a ride”

“When you reply would you mind speaking into this assegai said the other”

“Oh all right then said the Welshman, I don’t want to be confrontational”

“That’s what your mates said yesterday said the two Zulu’s as they burst out laughing”

I'd say we've more than made up though, let’s face it thousands now work in your side of the London trade Steve?

But it's always productive to keep an event which happened over 100 years ago alive?

:-$

Well person from the Valley’s that is certainly some achievement. I have never seen so much wrong in two lines in response to something that was only a joke.

What version of it was it that they showed you lot down there? It did have Michael Caine in it didn’t it. As for the rifles they were the ones they had nicked the day before following the battle of Isandwana when over 6oo men from a modern army were defeated and wiped out by the mob whose country it was. They were the black ones with the spears (depicted in the film Zulu Dawn).

The Zulu’s were under the control of the British army were they? ones ghast is flabbered. The fiction was what was embellished onto it. It did happen and I should know I was there.

Onto a serious point what’s all this phoney baloney I hear that our branch secretary has been banned from the site. Is this some sort of Freudian comment on the debate you lot were having about democracy.

Bourgeois democracy is all about maintaining the status quo and I was very impressed with both your and Mr T’s Marxist analysis of the situation. However even in bourgeois democracy it isn’t just down to who gets the most votes. Freedom of speech so as all views can be aired before decisions are taken and votes caste is an essential pre-requisite. Even in the most retarded capitalist societies like Britain and the US they go through the elaborate pretence of making out they have a free press and all that sort of nonsense.

This isn’t just a question of you wicked boys from Brighton getting what you want and then discarding the GMB is it.

Anyway say it as it is Brother Flanagan is 100% right if Labour is in power, despite their foul and obnoxious policies on privatisation and the war in Iraq, Afghanistan and heaven forbid Iran, we can change it/

The problem is that there are not enough of us active in the unions and therefore this is reflected in the party and hence the anti working class crap we see from the scum who have hi-jacked our party.

But even with this lot we have a chance of getting small legislative changes through. Could you imagine the benefits to us lot if the 1976 and 1998 acts were dramatically improved. What if we could really assert some power and kick the private contractor police out of the NHS and local government. What if there were a real clampdown on the tax evading big business thieves who announce record profits running into tens of billions while our members struggle to make ends meet dealing with some of the human flotsam and jetsam that this wonderful society has created as you put in the seventy second hour of the week going to do a night club pick up on a Saturday night wondering what shower of sh*t you are going to have in the car this time.

Everything you do is political so getting the best out of the situation is absolutely right. Changing the situation is even more important. The first step is joining the union.

Jesus Christ it wasn’t this difficult on the film set of Zulu

A common myth;

This, put simply, could not have happened as it was impossible for the Zulu regiments attacking Rorke's Drift to have used Martini-Henrys for the simple reason that they had formed the reserve at Isandlwana; they did not take part in the attack, and certainly did not have time to loot any rifles there before advancing on Rorke's Drift.

Terry used to lose it and get personal - which was a shame, because although I believe his heart is in the right place, at times his head was not.

I think it was "Sussex" who said something on the lines of "we are not the enemy" meaning the drivers, and in general that reflected Terry's posts, because basically he was ranting against the wrong people.

Terry is not up to scratch in terms of charm but he did have good points, unfortunately he frequently abused people which might be a deterent to some, not that I was particulary bothered as I feel confident enough to look after myself, and will if necessary give as good as I get.

His attitude I feel relects badly on the Union that he represents as most potential members will be looking for a person that you respect, but with him losing it so often that respect deminishes.

This forum is an ideal recruiting ground and if you go the right way about it you could bring people back into the fold, therefore perhaps someone needs to have a word in his ear. If he is banned, then no doubt he will be back under a pseudonym.
