If its the abuse then perhaps a policy worthy of consideration would be for the admin to say this topic is locked because your behaving like kids

CC I don't know why the threads were locked but it is well known that the admin of this site believes grown up people should be able to debate an issue without going beyond the pale of accepted abuse. Some remarks stretch the boundaries of what can be deemed tolerent. Warnings should not be needed but If the threads were locked because of that and I'm not suggesting they were, then it is understandable. Regards JD |

I pretty sure even the thickest on here have a rough idea why some threads are locked. And if warnings were given, or notes posted pointing out why the threads were locked, then we would spend the next week arguing why. Far better just to lock.
