So if an avatar has been abandoned by a previous owner, no one can use it?

Yes, but the Mr T in the photo is a fictitious character, and has nothing to do with taxi forums, while Nigel in the avatar is a real life person and posts on forums.

People could confuse you with the real Nigel if you used it and it just confuses the threads.

I can't for the life of me think of why you want to use it - if you just want it for Nigel's good looks :roll: why don't you just use a movie or rock star?
