Is it Ok if I offer a free download for TDO members ? It will be 2 account packages wrapped up in a winrar format. Directly downloaded from my own server. The formula in both will open in excel they are self calculating for Day / month / year .. Very easy to use I would just like to offer something in return as I have had some good advice from forum members. If it is OK to offer the download ! Where would you like it put so members can find it ? Maybe admin advice is needed. I can also post links to admin first for there approval. Regards Steve |

It may be possible to open them in Microsoft Works but you may need to search Google for a converter so that the excel document opens in works. The documents consist of formulas so they calculate totals and do all the maths for you. I am not sure if works will allow formulas to operate. I will have a look and see if I can convert them later. If you do not have excel you can use open office !!!!!!!!! It is free and here is the homepage http://www.openoffice.org/ Just go to the download link at the top of there site. Please note....I will not be held responsible for any errors by downloading open office or the installation / use of it. Read the open office site with care. I have never had any bother with it in any way but I don't want to hear "that programme you said use made my computer go poop ". Regards Steve |

Just a thought. You can upload the file I have named "Accounts_2006-2007 Upload" to Google Docs & Spreadsheets. https://www.google.com/accounts/ServiceLogin?service=writely&passive=true&continue=http%3A%2F%2Fdocs.google.com%2F&followup=http%3A%2F%2Fdocs.google.com%2F<mpl=homepage&nui=1 This service is free to join. You can then access your accounts from any computer. The formula in the excel doc uploads and works 100% in here. Meaning you can edit your accounts from anywhere. I think this is a good option because if you have a computer crash that leaves you with no options apart from a format, you will not loose your accounts. Taken from the Google site Create, edit and upload quickly Import your existing documents, spreadsheets and presentations, or create new ones from scratch. Access and edit from anywhere All you need is a Web browser. Your documents are stored securely online. Share changes in real time Invite people to your documents and make changes together, at the same time. It's free -- you don't pay a nickel I hope this helps. Regards Steve |
