I would guess with what Roy has been on about recently that it means that if you have a license to drive a manual car then if you have a license to drive an automatic bus, you will be able to drive a manual bus without having to take a tast.

Yep, same applies to lorry driving.

I think they are written in that way so that lawyers can make a fortune out of interpreting, or mis-interpreting them.

Basically it means, and I got this from a HGV examiner, if you passed your test in an Automatic you can now drive a manual, up to the classes you have past :roll: :roll: :roll: , WTF they need all this sheit just to say that

Yes, providing you have a manual car licence. You have to send your licence to DVLA to get it amended first.
