Will taxi and PH operators be able to object to some of the proposals, or suggest some changes???

Frances Patterson QC on the home page, the hackney Trade sell out, more taxis less work less money, why dont you pepole do the job for a few weeks, and put up to the sort of pepole the tarde as to put up with day in day out, what we need or less taxis less P/hire, so our members can make a living and provide a better service.

Come out of your officies onto the ranks and p/hire offices and see what it is like see what the drivers say not the bossies. whating for an hour or longer for a job, for £2 or £3 and start all over again..

I don't think they will tbh Charles, it looks to me like the driver's will end up all drivers and an owner driver will become a thing of the past, it looks also like a landgrab on every 100 car and less PH office, basically unless they are educated about things they will kill both sides equally.

Another point I'd like to highlight is how they seem to be focused on pricing and lowering it, as most of them are legal eagles how do they have the right to say we are expensive when they absolutely turn a man's pockets inside out for something that takes ten minutes to do, what they fail to realise is a vehicle costs money to run, we don't get subs like buses and trains, and one is catching us up fare wise and the other we are generally cheaper than if you have more than 2 riders in the cab, we can only hope that more LA's start speaking their opinion on proposal's, because I can see it now dozen's and dozen's of applicant's per hour to wade through, ours is about to shut the office and have a desk outside because they can't house the amount of drivers in there, so it's about to become rather impersonal and queue to get into the ground on match days.

I don't think PH operators (English version) will be objecting to too much of this report.

But if you mean drivers, then some will but most wont.

Not sure if this one is suitable for boilerplating. I suspect someone somewhere would smell a rat 8-[
