Well it's all happening in downtown Greenock :-o

And, as the high-res version of the photo suggests, not much sign of huge damage, so not entirely clear why it's holding up the whole road - no airbag, or whatever, but looks like the driver is still sitting in the car.

Anyway, either those Seats are like the Tardis inside, or they must be very, er, snug for four people, even not particularly big people :?

A BUSY street in Greenock's west end is partially blocked this afternoon following a traffic incident involving a taxi.

Pictures from the scene show a white taxi, which has suffered damage to the its side, sitting across both lanes on Union Street near Ardgowan Square.

Police officers are currently in attendance at the scene.

An eyewitness said: “The taxi is still sitting in the middle of the road.

“There’s not much space to pass it, so I think most cars are just avoiding the area.”

The Telegraph has contacted Police Scotland for comment.
