The campaign for JUSTICE for access to red routes and bus lanes,[parity with Black Cabs]is meeting at Conway Hall Red Lion Square Holborn at 6-30 for 7-00 on the 21November 2006.Support is coming in from a multitude of organisations, and the industries representative bodies are joining together to support the meeting. The political will is there, and I will be meeting with the Mayor tomorrow to further our claims for parity. Also to be discussed Driver Shields,Chaueffeur Working hours.Top testing!
Should prove interesting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Minicabs will never have parity with real London Taxi's, you know that, I know that, and Ken will make sure of that.

Anything that involves you is doomed to fail from day one. :D

Clueless.

I wish you well, and let's hope Red Ken wont let you down. 8-[

As for the pros and cons of the issue, it stinks and it stinks big time. When you were un-licensed you didn't deserve to have bus lane access. But times have changed and now you do.

It's utter madness that taxis from elsewhere can have free-reign in London's bus lanes, but London licensed vehicles can't. [-(

Why not let everyone, white vans, motor cyclists, private cars, EVERYONE use bus lanes, and red routes? Problem solved.
