You would almost think that some people, (Saf) believe that a taxi comes with a driver desperate to pay £300 a week for rental.

Skull ffs you are stuck on a roundabout going round and round and round and round and round

We cannot have an un-limited amount of Taxi's and you know that if we de-restrict now, just like aberdeen and dundee we will be calling for re-restriction in a years time, c'mon it happened in Edinburgh during the 80s ffs

Skull give up the ghost of plates past and don't make the same mistakes as Taylor, he really is losing the plot

The problem with Jim Taylor and Skull is they know their call for de-restriction is fecked

We have put a more tempting alternative to Edinburgh council and if there is to be change trust me it will be the New York Medallion system

Check out this months edition of Taxi talk for Wayne casey's views on this alternative :D

We need quality controls, nothing more, and certainly not a privileged few acting as the master race.

Restriction is doomed to fail, just as de-restriction is doomed to fail also. This is groundhog day, Dougie. It's quality controls or nothing.:D

I'll take my chances along with a lot of drivers who feel the same way.

£300 rentals, you've got to be having a       for what, to prop up someone's little illusion?

Aye right Dougie
