Look at it this way Hamster. If we win, you'll have greater protections from the public and the council as a consequence. However, if we lose, I might be out of a job, but you are owned. As a taxi driver you will be a second class Citizen with no rights whatsoever. A simple allegation will be enough to remove your licence.

This fight has got to be fought it's just the way of it.

I am not even remotely concerned about the RC meeting. It was always a foregone conclusion that my licence would be suspended.

The council has taken up their position on the battle field and are going on the offensive. They might have got into position first to launch their attack but that was always their choice. We now have the opportunity to defend our current position with the view to go on the offensive at a later date, or seize the initiative and counter attack immediately, and if successful, take control of the high ground. The next two weeks are crucial, at this moment, the momentum and the advantage lies with the council, but if we have it right, that will all change, fingers crossed.
