With this Exeter operation there appears to be no recovery time in the timetable for late running. On London services that I drive at the moment there is usually 20 minutes turn-round at each end of the route to allow for late running due to traffic, but then London is different. Typically on a"country" service 5 or 10 minutes recovery would be the norm.
The problem is with quite a big opperator in this area, Centrebus. They have several subsidised routes paid for by the County Council. They miss out quite a lot of journies so one of the County Councilors and I are putting together a list of these to ceck firstly if they are claiming money for journies that they haven't done and secondly to report to the TC.
