There has also been some confusion over which vehicles will have to be Euro 5 compliant and to clarify the situation LTI want to state that any vehicle purchased between now and the introduction of future Euro 5 regulations, will NOT have the regulations applied to that vehicle retrospectively. The new regulations will only apply to new vehicles first registered after the date of introduction of the new regulations.

So if the above is true. Does that mean that I can keep my 18 year old Metro going forever?
It sounds like the seatbelt law. all vehicles without seatbelts before the law came into force did not need them.
My cab goes in for O/H next week so I get another year. After that the cab and I are going on Ebay.
P.S. What makes anyone think Ken the c**t will be a Mare after next year. Nay Nay.

Its a bit like the TX2 is'nt being required to come up to the Euro 4 standard that the TX4 runs at. I suspect the TX4 will do likewise when the TX? takes over in 2012.

Sell your Metro to a Blackpool dealer, that'll be the latest model there?
