If anyone applied and then sisted, on the outcome of Braveheart's case, they could be in for a wee cash windfall.

How much is a Licence application in the weegy land these days?

It might be worth a punt.

The name Braveheart has been around far longer than Mel Gibson or the historically innacurate film he appeared in.

What I think will happen is when future applicants go in front of a committee, a taxi enforcement officer will be presented informing that all is well as far as unmet demand is concerned

Dont know about plate values, to be really honest I just want to make a point against these ignorant councillors & unelected officials

Grandad, believes in the authority of the state, regardless of who it really serves.

Do let us know when you find something amusing to say.
In the meantime, can you try staying on topic?

Not at all, but I do believe that unless you have proper legal training you will make yourself look a fool in court. A good lawyer will have you tied up in knots in no time. Why do you think these people spend so many years studying to do the job and charge the fees that they do?

I sort of concur with Grandad, but still offer support for folks doing it themselves.

Can I just advise members though that appearing in court is a hundred times more daunting that folks think.

I always found it quite intimidating and I was only accompanying clients and taking notes

If you are well prepared and know your case backwards, including the legal points you are relying upon, there is no reason not to go as litigant in person.

But, you must make sure you know exactly what you are arguing.

You've been watching to many movies Grandad. Most lawyers don't know your case half as well as you know your own. What a lawyer learns is Legal process and register. The truth is still the truth, regardless of how you speak to it.

If it looks like shi*e, and smells like shi*e, then saying excrement, is just a polite way to put it. :)
